The 2016 American Association of Payers, Administrators and Networks Annual Forum will be held at a perfect time in a perfect place, allowing you to meet with colleagues and hear from industry-leading thinkers about the challenges and opportunities in the year ahead.
We are returning to the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California, from Sunday, January 31 to Tuesday, February 2, just as the presidential campaign officially kicks off with the Iowa Caucuses on Monday, February 1.
As host of the AAPAN Annual Forum, I am pleased to announce the theme for this year’s forum is Today’s Health Care System: What’s Working and What’s on the Horizon – a fitting theme for our industry as we continue to take steps to adapt and thrive in a new and ever-changing health care environment in the United States. At this year’s forum, you will meet with experts and colleagues to discuss what is working in our current business model and steps we must take at the state and federal level to deliver sustainable results for third-party administrators, payers, group health networks and workers’ compensation professionals.
We have revamped and strengthened the agenda to ensure we are meeting the needs of payer, network and TPA executives, with an eye toward networking and promoting collaboration among attendees. We even have a new complimentary fitness event featuring yoga atop the cliffs over looking the Pacific Ocean!
On a personal note, the 2016 Annual Forum will be my last as the President and CEO of the American Association of Payers, Administrators and Networks. It has been my honor and privilege to work with and for you over the last 16 years, and I thank each of you for your strong support of me and our association over these many years.
I am looking forward to seeing you in California at the end of January as we prepare for a great 2016!
